Community choirs

Ali Burns and Christine Kydd have co-written a new resource for community choirs,  which is currently being launched by Scotland Sings.

The Great Scots Song Treasure Hunt, Gallus Productions

The Great Scots Song Treasure Hunt, devised by Ewan McVicar has proved a great success in schools in West Lothian and Aberdeenshire in 2012 and 2013. In 2012 Christine completed a series of interactive schools workshops for Gallus Productions in West Lothian Schools, as part of Scotland Sings, and incorporated Treasure Hunt into large Ceilidhmakers


JustSinginBirnam have just completed the recording of a CD to be launched in 2013, featuring many of Christine’s song arrangements.

Living Voices

Christine is one of ten freelancers in Scotland to embark on the Scottish Poetry Library’s  groundbreaking pilot project,  Living Voices, developing an interactive model of cultural participation in care settings.

Trad Music Awards
